He is a member of the Order of Canada, Prince Edward Island’s Food Ambassador, a best-selling cookbook author, innkeeper, educator, professional chef, and home cook. Andrea Carlson is a pioneer of the West Coast’s farm-to-table culinary movement, known both for her finesse and her whimsically inventive approach to cuisine. After working in some of BC’s most influential, ingredient-driven restaurants—among them, Sooke Harbour House, Raincity Grill and Bishop’s—in 2013, she opened Burdock & Co.
